Grandstand seating is available at the Winnebago County Fair booths.
REQUIRED PAPERWORK:
1. Valid AMA or ATVA card. Cards can be purchased at www.ama-cycle.org for bikes or www.atvaonline.com for ATV’s.
2. Valid District 17 card. Cards can be purchased at www.amadistrict17.com.
3. A copy of your birth certificate is required for both.
4. A parent or legal guardian must be present. If your parent or legal guardian can not be present you must have notarized note giving guardianship to someone 18 years of age or older.
5. A minor release form needs to be filled out and signed by all parties.
6. We accept the annual release.
PRACTICE
-Practice is immediately after the riders meeting and is split into rider skill and cc size.
*riders competing on two different displacement motorcycles will be allowed to participate in two practices. However, "A" riders are not allowed in "C" practice and "C" riders are not allowed in "A" practice.
FIRST RACE
The first race begins immediately after practice. For those of you who are participating in the first race should be in the staging area during the last practice.
RULES FOR RIDERS
-All riders must have a valid AMA card.
-All competitors riding a District 17 event must possess or have applied for a current D-17 rider card or possess a current rider card from another recognized AMA district, if that district requires a card. If you live in D-17 you must have a D-17 card in order to compete. Out of district riders who do not have a valid district card from a recognized AMA district must buy a $5.00 day pass. Applications can be obtained at the event, mailed, or downloaded at the D-17 website. If the applicant is under the age of 18 the application must be signed by the parent or legal guardian or notarized if the parents or legal guardian is unable to attend. A birth certificate must accompany the application.
-All minors must be accompanied by a parent or DOCUMENTED LEGAL GUARDIAN. An appointed guardian is responsible for the minor. Minor rider safety is the responsibility of the natural or legal guardian. A "Documented Legal Guardian" consists of a notarized form giving legal guardianship of the minor to an adult over the age of 18 that is signed by all parties. Minors will not be allowed to participate without proper documentation. The guardian must be present with a minor throughout the time he or she is at the facility. The form may be obtained at the American Motorcylist Association website www.ama-cycle.org.
-Entire safety outfit is recommended, however helmet, goggles, long pants, long sleeve shirt, gloves, and ankle high boots are required.
-All vehicles must have a silencer and be in safe operating order. All sidestands must be removed. All ATV's must be equipped with nerf bars, rear facing number plate, functional tether engine stop cord, and all lights must be removed or covered. ATV's will be inspected before practice, failure to comply with these rules will keep you from competing.
-Practice in you designated class. Failure to comply will result in disqualification.
-No doubling or passing on yellow flag, exercise caution it may be you next time!
-No pit riding. We will disqualify anyone who does not obey this rule.
-Participants are not allowed to consume drugs or alcohol.
STATELINE MX GENERAL RULES
-No alcohol.
-No glass containers.
-No unleashed pets. (You are responsible for your pet, any damages will be your responsibility.)
-No bicycles, golf carts, or other unlicensed vehicles in the facility.
-No one is allowed in the track area during practice or races.
-No fires unless they are in a wood burner. We can't have all the grass burned.
-No profanity. (This is a family sport with lots of youth riders)
-Please place all oil and coolant in a container and place by the garbage cans. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE BIKE STANDS IN GRASS.
